Bio

Mr. Pollock is a 1974 graduate of the UW Whitewater, degreed in Safety Education and Management. He is a Certified Safety Professional. Awards include the 1990 ASSE Northwest Chapter Safety Professional of the Year. the 1991 Distinguished Alumni Award from the UW Whitewater, the 1999 ASSE Charles V. Culbertson Outstanding Service Award and the 2004 ASSE President’s Award.

Mr. Pollock has held senior management positions with Fortune 500 companies in the biomedical products, heavy machinery, food processing and packaging, petroleum refining and marketing, and commercial insurance sectors.

In 1984, Mr. Pollock founded CLMI Safety Training, a successful safety consulting and training organization.

In 2003 he created BLUEPRINTS® for Safety, the successful OSHA compliance, safety and ergonomics training series. He has authored and produced of over 500 safety and health related training programs.

In 2003, Mr. Pollock founded the Direct Delivery Leadership Council (DDLC). The DDLC strives to further employee and fleet safety in the local or direct delivery industry.

Mr. Pollock has been involved with the ASSE at the Chapter and Society levels, including National PDC Chairperson, VP- Council on Professional Development, member of the Congress of Councils and served on the Board of Directors. Currently, he is Chairing of the Board Task Force planning the ASSE 100th Anniversary Celebration.

Mr. Pollock also serves on the Advisory Board of the NIOSH Midwest Center for Occupational Safety and Health, the Scientific Advisory Council of the University of Minnesota, and the Advisory Board of the UW Whitewater department of Safety Studies. He served on the Boards of the Digital Learning Organization, the Training Media Association, and the Instructional Systems Associations.
