Bio

Currently living in Eagle Idaho, (just west of Boise). Married (for 23 years) with no children (but we have 2 dogs who are treated like they are )

After accepting a workforce reduction package from Hewlett-Packard (with 25 years of service) in 2005, I launched a new business venture in the area of renewable fuels (and farm sustainability)www.northwestagrifuel.com
On farm growing and processing of Oilseed crops into BioDiesel and High protein livestock feed. Our focus was to provide the Crushing machines which would separate the oil from the seed (the 1st step toward BioDiesel processing).
While this is a new concept for US farmers, it's a mainstay for European farmers who've dealt with high Diesel (fuel) prices for some years. We signed a distribution agreement with a Danish Press Mfg/designer(www.bt-biopresser.com) and brought these products to the US in Jan of 2007.
After demonstrating these products at major US farm expo's (Jan to April of 2007), our sales grew until Sept of that year (when sales dropped due to the unprecedented rise in commodity prices (Wheat and Corn mainly)). Since that time, we've struggled to stay in business and at present time have closed our operation, waiting for the market to turn.
(which I believe it will, very soon).
