I was reading the September 29, 2008 issue of Fortune magazine this evening. I came across an interview with Anne Sweeney, Co-Chair, Disney Media Networks, and President, Disney-ABC Television Group. She was asked, what was the best piece of advice you ever received? Much too my surprise she recounted a family vacation that found her at the Farmer's Market in San Francisco. Strolling past a stall, she looked up and etched in a piece of steel was the following quote:

"What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?"

I was struck by how this quote highlights the promise of this website. The investment we all make in our profiles and the exchange of knowledge between us can make a difference in all our lives. Sometimes we hesitate to make an attempt at change for fear of failure. Well, failure is not an option. So what can we attempt to do, when we know that by simply participating we eliminate the possibility of failure?
