Ad Age has a story how Starbuck's "I'm In" pledge to donate your time and they will give you a free cup of coffee shows how corporations can be part of giving back and creating amazing goodwill and community. Oprah promoted on her show which gives it a tie in to Obama asking people to give back.

they used refillable water bottles on the set

biodiesel location vehicles

25% percent less film used

organic food for crew

low energy washing machines for wardrobe

Lower oil prices delay Green investments // 01.04.2009

Will history repeat itself or will we have enough awareness and momentum to keep investments in green energy alternatives going regardless of the daily price of oil? Article below says  the green revolution is slowing down with lower oil prices.

Surely, we have other motivations besides money to not use so much oil!
